Noise Music from Jase Daniels

Listen to it here.  This is the best noise music I’ve ever heard.  Think of it almost as meditation music for the digital age.  It sounds a lot like Jase’s images look, with that heavy dark atmosphere surrounding everything but  a kind of melancholic tranquility at the same time, a surrealist sense of beauty, and experimental collage of parts that he puts together so smooth it seems like it’s always been one piece.  I’ve been a fan and a friend of Jase since 2006 when we began working on This City is Alive together and it has never stopped being exciting for me to watch everything he does.  It’s always mutating and always staying consistently good.  I highly recommend also checking out his all-image novel, The Grubby End, because I really don’t think any artist ever has done something like Jase did with this.
